Joining Harourside Artist Management’s Disability Empowerment Project (via Youth Music), as a neurodiverse manager, Lilian ran a six-month project after selecting an artist who identified as disabled/neurodiverse to release a fully funded EP with a full marketing and visual campaign.
Lilian selected and A&R’d Jae/ TU3SDAY, whom she supported through their EP ‘Love + Rage’. The focus was on splitting up tasks and making sure the project was as accessible as it could be for both Lilian & Jae. Key communication throughout the project was between Virgin Music (distribution), Infectious PR, alongside many youth and disability partners.
Throughout this project, Lilian also helped Harbourside with A&R tasks, touring and support at events such as The Great Escape in Brighton.
For the work on the project, both Jae and Lilian were nominated for respective Youth Music Awards. The awards were also featured in Mixmag & Notion, with interviews for Jae and Lilian via Bristol Live, BBC Radio and Selector Radio.
“Upon being selected for the programme, Lilian's knowledge and know-how made it clear they could be an asset to a music management company right away. Their perceptive A&R skills made them the perfect manager to come onto the programme and select an artist to work with. Their work with the artist TU3SDAY on the programme was dedicated, highly skilled and compassionate - applying their specific experience in neurodiversity as an aid to manage a like-minded artist. George was a major factor in the success of the programme.“
